LIFE Pittsburgh participants must receive all needed health care services, including primary care and specialist services (other than emergency services), through LIFE Pittsburgh or providers authorized by the Interdisciplinary Team. In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, if a LIFE Pittsburgh participant is admitted to a nursing facility, the participant may be responsible for a monthly payment toward the cost of care, as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, based on Medical Assistance eligibility and applicable regulations.
